Good morning Seahawks!  Today is Tuesday, November 13th, 2018.

Today’s SS classes are EI1 and 3

  • We will do an EI lesson today in 1st period.  
  • 1st period teachers, please remember to collect any outstanding Federal Impact Aid forms.

There will be an NEHS meeting tomorrow, 11/14 in room 472.  We will hold junior officer elections and sign up for our first service projects.  Feel free to bring snacks to share! :)

The Ultimate Frisbee Interest Club will meet on Wednesday, November 14 at 3 in Mrs. Lewis's room, 448. Any students interested in Ultimate Frisbee are welcome. We'll discuss offices, fundraisers, and more. Afterward, we'll take our yearbook photo.

French Honors Society is celebrating National French week this week, so have a croissant on us!

The DECA shoe collection has been extended to Friday - November 16, 2018. For your convenience, there are two box drop off locations now  - the main office and room 444, for the donations of gently used shoes. Thanks again for your support.

The DECA Marketing class is also collecting used prescription eyeglasses  in all sizes and styles, through November 16. A box is located in room 444 and the main office. The eye glasses collected will be donated to those in need.

Don't forget, if you need help with any kind of writing, our writing center tutors can help you. See us after school late bus Wednesdays in the library!

Good luck to our boys basketball teams in their scrimmages tonight at Wakefield!

The South Lakes High School Theatre Department proudly presents Leading Ladies, This hilarious comedy by Ken Ludwig will be performed Thursday November 15th at 7, Friday November 16th at 7, and Saturday November 17th at 2 and 7! Tickets are $8 for students and can be purchased online at or at the door!

Varsity Math Team will have their next competition TODAY, November 13th at 3:00 in the Cafeteria. Anyone in Algebra 2 or higher is welcome. Please bring a calculator.

Winterguard combines dance with flags, rifles, & sabres on a tarp to recorded music. Anyone interested in learning about this amazing activity and our show for this year should attend an interest meeting on November 15 from 5-8 pm in the band room.

Teachers! We are redoing the bulletin board in the main office and we’d love new family photos to post! Send your photos to and keep an eye out for the new board! You may just find a special note written to you!
