Summer 2020 Virtual Credit Recovery

Registration Ends June 19

2020 Virtual Credit Recovery

Virtual Credit Recovery is an opportunity for students to recover one high-school course credit and receive a grade.

Over three weeks, students will:

  • Take part in daily synchronous learning sessions with their teacher.
  • Complete daily online learning modules at their own pace (asynchronous).
  • Students will be expected to build their own routines and effectively manage their time in order to stay on track.
  • Students will be expected to spend an average of 2-3 hours per day per subject area for the three week period which  is significantly different than our current 4th quarter distance learning model.  The time required for student success will also vary due to mastery of prior knowledge that a student has.

Teachers will have office hours at set times and by appointment for students to ask questions. Schools will provide this information to the students.

  • Students are eligible to enroll in Virtual Credit Recovery for one course if they received a grade of F in that course.
  • Students may not take a course for new credit.
