All data will be erased from your FCPSOn laptop.

All files MUST be saved to an external device, or to your FCPS Google Drive

Prepare your laptop for dropoff:

• Remove all personal stickers (leave the business card holder and student identification card)
• Using a damp cloth or disinfectant wipe, gently wipe down the entire computer, including keyboard and laptop screen
  • Before wiping down your computer, squeeze the cloth or wipe, until it is no longer dripping
  • Our goal is to give you back the same laptop in the fall, but we cannot guarantee it!
• Remove any label or tape on the power adapter
• Wrap the power cord neatly (coil the cords and use the velcro tie)

Laptop Return: 

• You will return the laptop and power adapter
• If you have a laptop case, it is yours to keep. We will not collect these.
• Return dates are:
  • 6/1 - Senior laptop/textbooks return
  • 6/10 and 6/11 - Underclassmen laptop and textbooks return

Summer School / Credit Recovery:

• ALL students must turn in their FCPSOn laptop on/before June 11th.
• Students attending Credit Recovery will be able to pick up their updated FCPSOn laptop before the start of Credit Recovery on June 28th.  (Pickup Dates/Times TBD)

Damaged Equipment:

• When you turn in your laptop & power cord, please let us know if either are damaged.  We will arrange to have it repaired.

Fines for missing equipment:

• $467 - missing/lost FCPSOn Laptop
• $23 - missing/lost FCPSOn Power Cord
