South Lakes HS school-based technology specialist AmyBeth Kramer, along with South Lakes HS Principal Kim Retzler, receives her Best of the Web framed certificate from John Torre, Executive Director II, Communication & Community Relations. The South Lakes HS website was recognized at the 2018 Web Curator's Conference for the school that best utilizes calendars and events.

Congratulations to the South Lakes HS website and school-based technology specialist Ms. AmyBeth Kramer on being one of ten schools recognized schools at this year's FCPS Web Curator's Conference with its "Best Use of Calendars and Events" to categorize and kept the school and community abreast of all the happenings.

Below is the write-up that was read as Ms. Kramer received her award.

South Lakes High School's school-based technology specialist  AmyBeth Kramer maintains a robust listing of events on her site by taking advantage of a new feature that allows for the bulk uploading of events. She set up a data file with information including the school’s blue and green rotational schedule and sports schedule, then imported the file into the website’s events calendar.

Ms.Kramer and school web curator Mr. Richard Del Conte constantly do an amazing job of keeping the school website up to date, relevant, easy to use, and visually appealing.
