Congratulations to Instructional Assistant Ms. Candice Johnson on her recognition as the April 2023 FCPS CARES Region 1 Recipient of the Month, presented by the FCPS Department of Human Resources.

Candice has made the scheduling of over 400 IEP addendums appear seamless. She has worked tirelessly to take the time to explain to parents the process and what OCR addendums are. She has coordinated with interpreters to ensure families are comfortable in their home language while ensuring that school staff have adequate notice to prepare. She is integral part of our special education department and appreciated by parents and staff alike.
